Born on 15th July 1975 at a historical city, Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh) Photography and films were the passion since childhood that led me to connect with the glorious world of films, to which I was always being attracted. After completion of graduation I followed the passion and reached Mumbai. I was not alone at the dream city as some of my best friends were perusing their curriculum. They kept working hard to achieve their goals and I struggled to reach my original destination. The support and motivation encouraged me to get success.
I got my first chance as an assistant Director with the film “MAMTA” for Doordarshan Bhopal. It was a telefilm produced by Bhopal Doordarshan and directed by Mr. Sharique Minhaj Khan. Dr. Shakil Sheikh was the story writer for the film, who introduced me to the film. This film was based on Mothers love to her child. With lots of compliments I became confident and kept busy myself in new assignments.
I have been approached by Mr. Shariq Minhaj Khan for his new film “Chand Bujh Gaya” With grace I accept this proposal and was part of this project based on Gujarat Riots. It was a great learning period for me with the experience of Mr. Faiz Anwar- Lyricist (Producer of film) and other specialists. This film was released in 2005 after intervention and order of the High court. Some memorable moments and experience of passing through the censor board and tribunal was great learning for me as this film was based on Gujarat riots. With the two assignments with Mr. Khan I joined him for Millennium advertising and marketing services. We were enjoying add films and short films on different topics. I utilized my skills and expertise for those short films.
The first turn in my career came when I was offered to host a program. I was very excited and interested to be in frontline on camera from back end. It was a Naa’t based program for Doordarshan “Gulha-e-Aqidat” to be telecasted in 2007. Same year, “Sarate- Mustaqeem” was sent for telecasting on Doordarshan, based on Islamic speeches. Both program encouraged me for hosting/anchoring of shows. I learn a lot from these programs where my director Mr. Rashid enjoyed my work.
I got my new assignment for ETV Urdu. They were into telecasting “Ziyarat Aulia-e-Hind” directed by Shahid khan and co-produced by rashid khan based on spiritual personalities of Islam in India. With respect to them I accepted the anchoring for this program and I am still performing for their new episodes, which are being telecasted at present.
For my career, I worked hard and found some good opportunities but still I am missing my dream job in industry. I am looking for some leading new assignments as director of the films and TV shows. I hope this will be soon in my favour and will put my best effort towards the success.
